A random assortment of particles pressurized until they expanded in a Big Bang,
And in this burst of random particles, an infinite amount of stars were formed.
A random assortments of these stars made up groups called galaxies,
And one of these just so happened to be called the Milky Way.
And in this random assortment of stars out of the infinite, there was a medium sized one by the edges.
This non-de script star was surrounded by several random planets,
And though they had large storm planets, and planets with rings of grandier, there was a medium blue and green marble that happened to be Earth.
And there were an assortment of mountains and expansive oceans and animals of countless types,
And one of these animals just so happened to be called humans.
And there were billions of humans with countless relationships and stories and pains and love and loss,
And out of those billions are the people in my country, my state, my town, my home.
And one of those people happens to be me,
And I only wonder if I was a part of this expansive plan that seemed to fall together, or if I am so small that I am an unimportant bi-product of meaningless events.
Do I matter? Does it matter if I’m here at all?
Or am I just a coincidence?

Bought this older book the other day. It came out in 1999 or something and completely loves on Em in the later half.
Anyway, I’m about a chapter in and it’s pretty good.
Don’t know why for the first time in a long while, I feel really cute today :)
